Please tell us about yourself

My name is Ronald. I am a computer network engineer and freelancer in the field of transcriptions and translations. I have a child whom I love very much and I play football very well. I’m passionate about any job that involves the use of a computer and I like to discover new fields such as photography, online sales, and many other fields such as telemarketing.

Why did you choose Appen?

I had been informed by my English teacher that there is a platform that allows you to work from home. I signed up for a transcription project and since then feel that Appen is a great platform.

When do you do your work?

I work at any time, when I am in a quiet place and I have my own internet box I work. for example in the library, my bedroom, or my living room.

What is your favorite part about being a Contributor?

I think it’s the freedom to work from where you want and when you want.

What has Appen enabled you to do that you couldn’t before?

I couldn’t save enough money to start my own cosmetics business but with the money I earned with Appen I was able to.
