Please tell us about yourself

I have two adult kids and I have been married for 26 years. I live in the state of Texas. I’m a health fanatic. My hobbies include cooking, running, weightlifting, yoga and swimming. Also, my husband and I like to dance.

Why did you choose Appen?

I chose to work for Appen so I can work from home and still be able to care for my mother at the same time.

When do you do your work?

I do my work anytime in the morning, evening, or afternoon.

What is your favorite part about being a Contributor?

My favorite part about being a Contributor is I get to be home and not deal with traffic. Some projects allow me to do things I enjoy like listen to music and do translation work.

What has Appen enabled you to do that you couldn’t before?

I have the freedom to work anytime of the day.
