During the month of May, we celebrate and recognize the influence and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to our history, culture, and achievements. AAPI Month became an official commemoration in 2009. Since then, May has been dedicated to shining a light on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
